New task light wins prestigious Best of NeoCon Gold and Innovations Grand Prize award.
At NeoCon 2008 in Chicago, the World’s Trade Fair and national expo of contract furnishings, Luxo’s Ninety task light was honoured with two major accolades: Contract magazine’s Best of NeoCon Gold award and Buildings magazine’s Innovations Grand Prize award for energy efficiency.
Luxo’s Ninety – the world’s most energy-efficient task light – combines great design with better lighting ergonomics, all in a truly sustainable package. Its LEDs have a 45,000 hour life span due to its highly efficient light diode system producing optimal light with low energy consumption. The four high-power LEDs use just 1.5W each, while providing 100 footcandles at a height of 16 inches above the worksurface.
Ninety is the perfect ergonomic task light with its asymmetric light distribution ideal for general office work and illuminating large work areas, all housed in a sleek compact design by Shawn Littrell.
In its 19th year, the Best of NeoCon awards drew almost 400 e

ntries in 40 categories. The awards were judged by 60 interior designers and facilities management professionals and are presented by Contract magazine and co-sponsored by Merchandise Mart Properties, IIDA (International Interior Design Association), IFMA (International Facilities Management Association) and McMorrowreport.com.
